Kuchlak to Zhob | Bids called for dualization of N-50

China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority Chairman Asim Saleem Bajwa while using his social media account informed that the bidding process for the western route of CPEC, Zhob-Kuchlak (Quetta) road, is underway.

The National Highway Authority (NHA) has asked for bids in sealed envelopes from engineering firms registered with Pakistan Engineering Council in Category-A (with specialisation in CE-01 & CE-02 for the year 2020) for the dualization of 298 Km Kuchlak-Zhob Section. The project has been divided into 5 projects.

Package-I: Zhob to Tangi 65 Km

Package-II:  Tangi to Qila Saifullah 65 Km

Package-III: Qila Saifullah to Nasai 50Km

Package IV: Nasai to Khanozai 65 Km

Package-V: Khanozai to Kuchlak 53 Km

Chairman CPEC added that as per plan, Chinese funding for Dera Ismail Khan-Zhob section of CPEC Western route is being processed to be incorporated in upcoming meeting of Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) of CPEC. After its completion of this 210 Km project Islamabad-Quetta would be connected through expressway.
