KOTRA striving for strengthening ties with Pakistan

 

Korean Organization for Trade Promotion (KOTRA) is striving for stronger ties between the construction companies of Pakistan Korea.

As part of that process a KOTRA delegation headed by its Director General Uh Jae Sun called on the Constructors Association of Pakistan (CAP). CAP immediate Past Chairman Chaudhry Muhammad Habib Kanwal led his team during the meeting.

KOTRA Director General was also accompanied by Bong Hag Kang and Tajamul Alam while from CAP side Ch. Sabir Hussain, Vice Chairman, CAP (Punjab), Ch. Khaleeq Ahmad Awan, Imran Abbas Awan, Muhammad Jamil and Ali Imran Saleemi assisted their Past Chairman.

The Korean delegation announced to bring a heavy delegation of Korean construction machinery companies in coming months to facilitate B2B meetings between the two sides. The delegation will also study the construction sector of Pakistan and explore different avenues with their Pakistani counterpart as joint ventures.

Habib Kanwal while talking to delegation told them about the potential of Pakistan’s construction industry in the next five years. He said that a lot of opportunities exist for improving bilateral relations and entering into joint ventures in Pakistan.

He said recently the Pakistan government has allowed construction of sky-scrappers and other high-rise buildings which could be an attraction for the Koreans who have a vast experience in this dimension.
