Quality Before Quantity: E-Links Pakistan’s Formula for Industrial Success

An exclusive conversation with Mansoor Ahmed CEO Elinks Pakistan

E-Links Pakistan is a Lahore-based engineering company specializing in industrial automation, power engineering, energy management, and low- and medium-voltage electrical solutions. Established in 2005, the company represents a number of internationally renowned manufacturers from Europe, Asia, and the United States, supplying high-quality industrial electrical products and engineering solutions to Pakistan’s manufacturing and infrastructure sectors.

As a company committed to advancing energy efficiency and electrical system reliability, the company specialises in delivering comprehensive power quality solutions for industrial and commercial facilities. Their expertise include identifying and resolving power quality challenges such as voltage disturbances, current and voltage harmonics, and poor power factor that can reduce system performance and equipment life. Elinks provides engineered power factor correction systems using detuned filter banks integrated with high-quality ZEZ SILKO capacitors, ensuring reliable reactive power compensation while preventing harmonic resonance. For installations with significant harmonic distortion and dynamic load variations, they offer advanced harmonic mitigation solutions through Active Harmonic Filters (AHFs) and Static VAR Generators (SVGs), delivering cleaner power, improved power factor, enhanced energy efficiency, and compliance with international power quality standards. Their goal is to help industries achieve safer, more reliable, and more sustainable electrical networks through innovative and customised power quality solutions.

E-links portfolio includes automation systems, power protection equipment, energy analyzers, metering solutions, control and switchgear components, terminal blocks, relays, capacitors, current transformers, panel accessories, and other industrial electrical products. The company represents global brands such as Alfa Electric (Italy), Efen (Germany), Fuji Control (Japan), Giovenzana (Italy), Gruppo Energia (Italy), Hobut (UK), Klemsan Elektrik (Turkey), Lumel (Poland), Relpol (Poland), SEZ (Slovakia), ILX (Turkey), Mesan Kilit , Essentra plc (Turkey)  and ZEZ Silko (Czech Republic) .

Speaking exclusively to Engineering Post, Mansoor Ahmed, CEO, E-Links Pakistan, shared the company’s philosophy of introducing only thoroughly tested products to the Pakistani market and highlighted its future plans in artificial intelligence and energy management.

According to Mansoor Ahmed, E-Links Pakistan follows a rigorous product evaluation process before introducing any international brand to local industries. “We work with a large portfolio of global brands, but we never introduce a product immediately after signing an agreement,” he explained. “Every new product undergoes extensive testing for nearly a year before we officially launch it in Pakistan. This ensures that it performs reliably under local operating conditions.”

He pointed out that products designed for European markets often require careful evaluation before being deployed in Pakistan because environmental and industrial conditions differ considerably. “Many of the brands we represent originate from Europe, where operating environments are very different,” he said. “For example, low-voltage and medium-voltage panels installed in countries like the UAE are generally placed in spacious, air-conditioned facilities with excellent ventilation. In Pakistan, however, industries often operate under much harsher conditions, including higher ambient temperatures, dust, humidity, and limited ventilation. Unless a product is tested thoroughly under these conditions, its long-term performance cannot be guaranteed.”

Highlighting another key pillar of the company’s success, Mansoor Ahmed stressed the importance of responsive after-sales support. “After-sales service is just as important as the quality of the product itself,” he stated. “If any issue arises, we provide replacement warranties wherever applicable to ensure that our customers experience minimal disruption to their operations. More importantly, we conduct a detailed technical analysis of every reported issue to identify its root cause. This helps us prevent similar problems in the future and continuously improve our products and services.”
