Umar Farooq said his career began after graduating in Mechanical engineering from NED University in 1991, one of Pakistan’s most respected institutions. He then spent nearly two decades working with international companies, where he gained valuable exposure to modern industrial practices, engineering systems and project management standards. “Those twenty years of experience gave me the confidence, discipline and technical knowledge required to establish company,” he said. “I learned how global organizations operate, how they maintain quality and how they build trust with clients. That experience became the foundation of Pioneer Engineering Company Private Limited.” He explained that the company was established with a clear objective to provide world class maintenance, refurbishment and overhauling solutions to Pakistan’s industries while maintaining high standards of professionalism. Speaking about the company’s client portfolio, Engr.
