New projects approved by Punjab government

Around ten projects worth Rs. 12.25 billion under the domain of Finance and Development has been approved by the Provincial Cabinet Standing Committee. As per the words of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar that the Punjab government is actively working for the development of the province a major chunk has been invested for the betterment of the civilians. The projects under construction approved by the respective bodies are of construction as well as health Sector. The construction sector involves the flyover in Karim Block Allama Iqbal Town with construction cost of Rs 2.20 billion, a 3-km Mianwali-Sargodha Road to Wan Bhachran with capital of Rs 350 million, Gulab Devi Hospital underpass on Ferozepur Road at a cost of Rs 950 million. Moreover, a capital of Rs 350 million has been invested for the construction of Ghail to Lieutenant Arsalan Alam Shaheed Sati House Road in Murree, a civil dispensary at Moza Karoun in Tehsil Koh-e-Sulaiman at a cost of Rs 10 million. Around Rs 5.3 million will be spent on the up gradation of BHU of Kharar Buzdar to Rural Health Centre. The health sector after being neglected for ages has finally caught the sight of the authorities with some sound investments i.e.  Rs 70 million approved for the procurement of electro-medical equipment for the Neurosurgery Department of Mayo Hospital.
