NESPAK volunteers services for construction of ‘Mother and Child Hospital’

Punjab health minister Dr Yasmeen Rashid while chairing a meeting in lahore said that all the necessary preparations for the construction of a new state-of-the-art 400-bedded ‘Mother and Child Hospital’ has been completed and NESPAK have offered volunteer services for the construction of this hospital. She reviewed all issues regarding feasibility and other ancillary matters concerning this hospital. “We are taking steps to decrease the mortality rate of mother and children during delivery as per vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan,” she said, adding: “Medical facilities of international standard will be ensured in this hospital.”
She said that decrease in mortality rate of mother and child is very important and this hospital will prove to be a role model for other provinces as well. Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Aamir Zaman, Medical Superintendent Ganga Ram Hospital Fayyaz Butt and NESPAK officers were also present on the occasion
