Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government has decided to create an online portal for centralization of companies to increase the ease of doing business in the province. The proposed facility, through an online portal would provide the enlistment of construction companies for various departments on one centralized system while it would also be utilized for the e-biding and other required procedures.
This was revealed during a high level meeting in the province with Special Assistant to Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Science and Technology and Information Technology Kamran Bangash in the chair. He directed that a joint meeting comprised of Secretary C&W and Local Government Departments as well as high-ups of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa IT Board, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPPRA) and Performance Management & Reforms Unit (PMRU) may be convened so as to further accelerate the matter.
The effort would be more fruitful for ease of doing business in the province and it would explore the actual statistics of provided business opportunities by government to various construction companies as well employment of man power.
