First Convocation of Nazeer Hussain University

Nazeer Hussain University (NHU) Karachi held its first convocation in the first week of July 2022. NHU is one of the leading university having diverse academic and research programs with dynamic faculty dedicated to excellence. NHU is offering contemporary education in the field of Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical and Civil), Computer Science at graduate level and also offers MBA, Pharm-D and Architecture.

The Honorable Syed Sardar Ali Shah, Minister for Education & Literacy Department, Govt. of Sindh graced the event as the Chief Guest. Barrister Murtaza Wahab Siddiqui, (Administrator KMC) was the Guest of Honour for the occasion while Syed Muhammad Shabbar Zaidi was the keynote speaker for the event.

At the event Thirty three (33) students were awarded gold medals on their excellent performance in securing first positions in their respective departments ( Architecture, Computer Sciences, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Pharmacy, Business Administration, Commerce, Humanities, & Education ).

Engr. Farhat M. Khan, Chancellor, NHU delivered the welcome address at the occasion. He expressed his gratitude to Dr.Abdul Qadir Khan, Mohsin-e-Pakistan and BOG Member of Nazeer Hussain University by recitingDua -e- Maghfirah for him. He then welcomed all the Guests, Students, and Parents to the Landmark event.

While speaking at the occasion, Chief Guest Syed Sardar Ali Shah congratulated the graduating students on their splendid success and lauded Nazeer Hussain University for providing exceptional knowledge skills to the graduated students in their respective disciplines.

Mr. Shabbar Zaidi, Keynote Speaker of the occasion expressed his greetings to all the Guests, Students andtheir Parents, and members of Alumni.

He suggested the graduates, if they want to prosper, they should get higher education to make them financially strong and help the country prosper as well. He suggested that the graduates must have good communication skill, if they wish to advance and make progress in their lives.

A total of 812 students graduated from Nazeer Hussain University at the first convocation. The grand event was attended by a large number of guests from academia, industry, R&D organizations, business, politics and various sectors of the society.
