25th HVACR Expo sets new standards

Pakistan HVACR Expo is the most significant event of Pakistan HVACR Society which takes places annually on rotational basis in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. The show aims on providing a shared platform to Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration and allied industries to interact with their potential stakeholders and spectators, discuss new opportunities, joint ventures, technology transfer and knowledge sharing. The 25th edition of Pakistan HVACR International Expo & Conference was organized by the Islamabad Chapter on 5-6-7 April, 2018 at Jinnah Convention Centre, Islamabad. The show received tremendous participation response by Pakistani and foreign exhibiting companies. The show proved to be perfect meeting place for professionals, attracting serious buyers from all over Pakistan and countries abroad and provided an easy and essential route into the market for exhibitors, enabling professionals from across the industry to develop their business in a professional environment.

Sideline Events

  1. Silver Jubilee Dinner

Marvelous Silver Jubilee Dinner in honor of Founder Members and Past Presidents was hosted on 4th April 2018 at Pak-China Friendship Centre. The Dinner was graced by the presence Minister of State for Finance Rana Afzal Khan as the Chief Guest. The dinner was attended by the CEO and other C-Level personnel’s of exhibiting companies, Pakistan HVACR Society members, Businessmen and Industrialists, Government Officials, Executives of Islamabad and Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce, VIPs, Foreign Mission Staff and Media.

A colorful cultural program “Colors of Pakistan” was presented at this occasion, the program showed rich cultural heritage of all provinces, Kashmir and Chitral. The event was much appreciated by all the participants of the dinner.

(2) Inauguration Ceremony Engr. Javel Salim Quershi, Chairman, Pakistan Engineering Council Inaugurated the 25th Pakistan HVACR International Expo & Conference. The Ceremony was held at Jinnah Convention Centre. Other dignitaries at the Inauguration Ceremony were: Mr. Azim Ashraf, President, Pakistan HVACR Society Mr. Farooq Mahboob, Vice President (elect), ASHRAE Mr. Khurram Rehman Malick, Ch. Nadeem A. Rauf, Chairman Islamabad Chapter and Chairman Organizing Committee Mr. Ali Matin Durruk, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors, ISIB Turkey.

Farewell Dinner

The Farewell dinner was hosted to celebrate the successful participation by exhibiting companies. The organizing committee thanked all the participants who contributed to make 25th HVACR Expo a mega event. The participants gathered, dine and ejoyed instrumental music in very pleasant environment.

(3) Conference Parallel to the exhibition, a high profile international conference on the topic of “Energy conservancy for a better future” was held on 5-6-7 April 2018 at Jinnah Convention Centre. Renowned speakers from Pakistan and China presented their papers and presentations. The conference was attended by policy makers, consultants, decision makers from companies dealing in energy efficiency products and solutions, researchers, engineers, architects, builder and developers, government officials, academia and media from technical and industrial magazines and newspapers. The last session on Day-3 was dedicated to student’s projects and competition. Pakistan HVACR society believes in preparing the youths for the challenges of future and providing them a platform to learn from industry specialists and seniors.
