Two public sector gas companies have completed provision of required gas supplies to three Special Economic Zones (SEZs).
Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL) has completed the project for supply of gas to Allama Iqbal Industrial City Special Economic Zone Faisalabad in Punjab province.
Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGCL) has completed provision of supply of gas to two SEZs located in its domain.
Project for supplying 13 MMCFD to Bin Qasim Industrial Park Karachi, Sindh Province, has been completed at a cost of Rs 149.41 million.
For supplying 10 MMCFD gas to Bostan Special Economic Zone, Quetta, Balochitan province construction of an 8.7 km pipeline has also been completed within the stipulated period.
