Textile industry all set to reopen

 

Chairman All Pakistan Textile Processing Mills Association (APTPMA), Muhammad Pervez Lala has very productive meetings with Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar in which he was assured that the government is going to issue a notification very soon to restart the textile industry.

He said “Within next one or two days we will start our factories soon after announcement by the Prime Minister and issuance of requisite notification in this regard.”

He urged the government to allow reopening off all sectors related to the textile industry including wholesalers and retail outlets to ensure that the whole supply chain is functional.

The chairman APTPMA said, “We are thankful to the Prime Minister Imran Khan, Governor Punjab, Ch Muhammad Sarwar, Chief Minister Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdar, Minister of Industries & Production (Punjab), Mian Aslam Iqbal, that they have seriously noticed the fatal effects of closure of textile industry and keeping in view of seriousness of the matter and to resolve the issues of textile processing industry they have granted permission whole chain of textile industry to restart work.
