Lahore chapter of Pakistan HVACR Society has won the best chapter activity award. This award was presented to Lahore chapter’s chairman Mr. Sajjad Haider during 25th HVACR Expo at Islamabad. Mr. Sajjad Haider with his dynamic team has continuously carried out professional activities resulting in the promotion of HVACR sector and society among the masses after being elected Chairman Lahore chapter in September 2017. Lahore chapter organized gigantic cricket gala twice in which various HVAC companies participated with full vigor. The chapter also carried out membership drive at Faisalabad and Sialkot and opened a sub office at Faisalabad as well. Events organized at Sialkot, Chiniot and Jaranwala to educate basic HVACR education has created awareness among the members and technicians. According to Mr. Sajjad Haider, next in line is Sahiwal and Multan for the basic HVACR training. Lahore chapter is developing student’s chapter in collaboration with various technical universities. Every month a technical presentation is organized at society office which has successfully attained the attention of high level professionals and members with junior technicians. These technical presentations are improving the HVAC knowledge in society and among members. Product presentations are also the part of activities conducted by Lahore chapter helping the members in highlighting the special features of their products. Full day workshop is also being planned. Lahore chapter has also arranged for the first time a trip of the members to the Northern areas to promote love for nature and to offer a break from the tiring routine for the better performance afterwards.
Above all, Lahore chapter has successfully managed to engage the members as their mutual coordination has increased their level of trust and continuous sharing of ideas. The members are now taking active part in the society activities considering this their social responsibility. “We at Lahore Chapter will keep on setting new trends to make society popular among the masses and effective for the members”, Mr. Sajjad Haider concluded.
