A major strength of IKON Technologies is its partnership with Haiwell, a leading Chinese manufacturer of industrial automation equipment. The company offers Haiwell Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human Machine Interface (HMI) systems, SCADA solutions and industrial servers that are widely used in manufacturing and process industries. These solutions have found applications in sugar mills, paper manufacturing, textile units, food processing plants and packaging facilities where automation plays a vital role in improving production efficiency and minimizing operational downtime.
According to Naveed Amil, Haiwell has also introduced advanced online monitoring capabilities in Pakistan through IKON Technologies, enabling industries to monitor and control their operations remotely using cloud-based platforms. “Cloud-enabled automation has transformed the way industries operate. Plant operators can monitor equipment, identify faults and even perform troubleshooting remotely, reducing downtime and improving overall efficiency. This technology is becoming increasingly important as industries move towards digital transformation,” he explained.
The company has also developed strong expertise in automation solutions for solar energy systems, particularly zero-export applications where intelligent control systems are essential. Haiwell automation products are increasingly being deployed in solar installations, while similar technologies are also being integrated into generator control systems to enhance operational performance and reliability.
Alongside automation products, IKON Technologies markets Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) under its own IKON brand and also provides professional repair and maintenance services for industrial automation equipment. Looking ahead, Naveed Amil revealed that IKON Technologies is preparing to introduce another Chinese brand, Sinny, in Pakistan next year. “Next year we will be launching Sinny, an economical automation brand that will make advanced industrial technology accessible to even more customers. Our vision is to provide cost-effective solutions without sacrificing quality or performance,” said Naveed Amil.
