Nigeria to host 2nd Pak Africa trade conference

The second Pakistan Africa trade development conference is to be held in Lagos Nigeria as a part of the ministry of commerce’s look Africa policy. The first Pakistan Africa trade conference was held in Kenya, to provide ease for the eastern African countries in the matter of trade. It took place in Nairobi, the capital city of Kenya. In conjunction with the conference, a single country exhibition is also being held.

The Pakistan delegation is led by Abdul Razzak Dawood, the advisor to prime minister on commerce and investment. He is leading the delegation including trained professionals of the government and officials. A number of businessmen and trade representatives are a part of the delegation.

These businessmen include a total of more than 113 Pakistani companies leading from the front, taking part in the sectors of Textiles, Cosmetics, Leather, Food, Pharmaceuticals, Tractors, Electrical Appliances, Fans, Cable, Steel, Surgical, Paint, Chemicals, IT, Sports etc.

The 15 countries included in the economic community of West African states (ECOWAS) including Nigeria, Niger, Senegal, Ghana, Togo, Ivory Coast, Gambia, Guinea have been invited and are participating in the conference.
