Lucky Cement Limited, a prominent cement producer, has successfully ignited the kiln for its new clinker manufacturing line at Najmat Al-Samawah (NAS), a joint venture entity based in Samawah, Iraq. This notable achievement represents a major advancement in the company’s growth strategy.
The newly established clinker line boasts a production capacity of 1.82 million tons per year and was ignited on May 13, 2025. As stated in a notification to the Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX), the enhanced clinker output will allow Lucky Cement to expand its footprint in the Iraqi market by delivering increased cement volumes locally. Any excess clinker generated at the plant will also be distributed and sold within Iraq.
