The industrial expo inaugurated by the Board of investment Pakistan in Lahore. Even with the COVID 19 situation proving to be a major setback for the economic, industrial and business sectors of both the countries, Pakistan and China, they somehow managed to keep the system running, but this expo will be the step to a reverse recoil towards the stabilization of the economic markets of both the countries, once and for all.
This would be the fifth industrial china Pakistan expo which is being held in the Royal Palm golf and country club in Lahore, started from 29th October 2021 to 31st October 2021. Over 100 Chinese companies are a part of this event as an investor as well as for visitation. These companies are taking part in the expo through both online and offline modes of participation.
The executive director general of the board of investment, Khashish ur Rehman expressed his views during the inauguration and said that this would be a great business and investment opportunity for the economic sectors of both the countries.
The expo was attended by a lot of big figures of Pakistan as well as China including the project director of CPEC industrial cooperation Asim Ayub, the deputy director of China Shanghai cooperation Xiang Zhiqiang, Executive director of China Pakistan centre Wang Zihai and the commercial counselor of embassy of Pakistan in china Badar uz Zaman.
Investors participated from the provinces of Shandong and Henan and were provided proper environment and break out rooms for better communications and interactions with each other and the suggestions received from the stake holders and business community from china were highly appreciated.
Henan is the largest province of china and is definitely a huge platform for business an investment developments in both the countries. Moreover, the second phase of the CPEC project which will be a personal to personal or business to business (B2B) mode of development will also prove to be extremely beneficial for the business sector of both the countries. The guests from China appreciated the BOI for their cooperation and management of the event as well as being a helping hand in providing an opportunity for the industrial and business development of both Pakistan and China.
