In Remembrance of Mr. Noordin Sheriff, Chairman, Jubilee Corporation

Jubilee Corporation pays tribute to the life and legacy of Mr. Noordin Sheriff, Chairman, who passed away on 5 June 2026. A man of deep technical conviction and quiet resolve, Mr. Noordin Sheriff was instrumental in laying the foundations of what would become one of Pakistan’s most r names in the electrical engineering sector. His contribution to the industry spans over six decades, beginning not with a title, but with a vision.

Technical Excellence from the Very Beginning

Mr. Noordin Sheriff, son of Mr. Noor Mahomed Sheriff, began his professional career as an Electrical Engineer at Siemens Pakistan. When his father and elder brother, Mr. Akbar Noor Mahomed Sheriff, established Jubilee Corporation in 1962, he joined the venture and brought with him a depth of technical knowledge that would prove invaluable in the years ahead.

At a time when Pakistan largely relied on conventional rewireable fuses for electrical protection, Mr. Noordin Sheriff recognized the need for safer and more advanced technologies. Through his technical leadership, Jubilee Corporation introduced High Rupturing Capacity (HRC) Fuses based on German technology to the Pakistani market in 1962. This marked a significant milestone in the evolution of electrical protection systems in the country and laid the foundation for modern low-voltage switchgear practices.

A Legacy That Shaped an Industry

The journey that began with the shared vision of three brothers grew into an organization that has consistently set the benchmark for quality and innovation in Pakistan’s electrical sector. From Moulded Case Circuit Breakers and Electronic Overcurrent Relays to Digital Air Circuit Breakers and beyond, Jubilee Corporation’s history of introducing global technologies to the Pakistani market is inseparable from the groundwork Mr. Noordin Sheriff helped establish.

His contributions extended well beyond technical achievements. Mr. Noordin Sheriff helped instil within Jubilee Corporation a culture of precision, accountability, and an unwavering commitment to serving Pakistan’s engineering community with integrity. These values remain central to everything the company does today.

A Standard That Endures

Mr. Noordin Sheriff leaves behind not only a company, but a standard — one that continues to define Jubilee Corporation’s work across Pakistan’s electrical industry. For those who worked alongside him, and for the industry he helped shape, his absence will be deeply felt. His life’s work, however, endures.

May Allah grant him the highest place in Jannah, and may his family be granted patience and strength in this time of grief. Ameen.
