F&M Engineering Group of Companies celebrated the Independence Day of Pakistan on 14th August with fervour and enthusiasm. For this occasion, the head office of F&M engineering located at B-227 Gulshan-e-Iqbal 13-D-1 was lit with beautiful decorative lights according to the occasion. The company celebrated Pakistan’s 75th Independence Day with a proper ceremony befitting the event. The company also arranged a flag hoisting ceremony in remembrance of the day when our homeland was declared independent and appeared on the map of the world as a sovereign country. In this regard a beautiful event was arranged which was attended by the company staff and high ranking officials.
Engr. Sohail Bashir (Chairmen IEP) graced the occasion as Chief Guest while the, Guests of Honor were Engr Muhammad Shafique (GB Member PEC) & Engr Yousuf Qaimkhani (GB Member PEC). Managing Director & CEO, F&M Engineering, Mr.Imran Muhammad Arif received the guests and thanked them for their participation in the Independence day celebration. High officials of Management and staff also attended the ceremony.
The event started with the recitation of Holy Quran. The MD & CEO, Mr. Imran Muhammad Arif while addressing the participants of the ceremony emphasized on the significance of the Independence of the country and how one should always be grateful and never take this freedom for granted. The Chief guest and guests of honor also addressed the participants and expressed their views about the importance of this occasion. A cake cutting ceremony was also organized by the company with regard to this occasion. After the cake cutting ceremony Badges of Pakistan’s flag were distributed among the Guests & colleagues which they adorned on their clothes with pride. Small flags were also distributed among the participants.
At the end of the ceremony, special prayers were made for the integrity, solidarity and development of Pakistan and the company. The participants of the ceremony really appreciated the backdrop of attractive media wall with the logo of “F&M Engineering” and kept taking pictures in front of it. Refreshments were also served.
In addition to organising a graceful ceremony at their head office, F&M Engineering Group of Companies also organised virtual events for the engagement of their followers on social media. Various Facebook activities like video and photo contests were arranged by F&M Engineering for the purpose of engaging the followers on Facebook. Social media users from all over the world connected and participated in the events and shared their love and respect for the beloved country on F&M Engineering Facebook page.
