Firetech Enterprises started manufacturing fire hydrants and allied equipment

Step towards Self-reliance
Firetech Enterprises, for the first time in Pakistan, developed vet barrel fire hydrant in accordance with NFPA standards. Before this development, millions of dollars of valuable foreign exchange was spent on the import of these hydrants. This is a milestone towards a dream of self-sufficiency within Pakistan.
Talking to Engineering Post, Mr. Abdul Hameed Sheikh, CEO, Firetech Enterprises (Pvt) Ltd informed that it is our national commitment to compete international brands with full technical back up and support. He informed that Firetech is planning to develop various kinds of Firefighting equipment to develop and manufacture in Pakistan. He further added that Firetech has already signed technology transfer agreement with leading Chinese manufacturers.
Replying to a question, Mr. Abdul Hameed Sheikh said that we have played our part by developing these fire hydrants and now we expect national consultants who are responsible for specification writing that they should consider made in Pakistan components in firefighting technology which are being manufactured as per international standards under strict quality control.
Firetech has already supplied and installed these newly developed products at one of the Mega Projects in Pakistan successfully.
Firetech is the first company started manufacturing fire hydrants and allied equipment in Pakistan to compete international brands which are neither backed up by after sales service nor provide technical backup in Pakistan. It is now the prime duty of government to take necessary steps to protect Pakistan’s assets through legislation.
Firetech intends to carry on R&D in firefighting technology and its applications to meet all international specs and standards. Firetech has tested hydro test successfully at 16 bar pressure for this fire hydrant.

system successfully at Metro Bus service, Arfa software Technology Park, safe city (PPIC3), DHA Headquarter, PKLI Hospital and Islamabad international airport.
