A number of development projects are under implementation and being planned under the great game changer China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) in Gwadar and other parts of Balochstan province , as in the other parts of Pakistan, and being provided electricity, services and facilities on priority basis.
According to the information available from quarters concerned, two mega housing projects namely China Pakistan Investment Corporation (CPIC) projects International Port City and China Pakistan Golf Estates in Gwadar, Balochistan, have been provided with electricity. These are first residential communities in the private sector in Gwadar which have been connected with national grid system successfully and being provided with electricity, duly being regarded as a milestone in the development of the city.
