Chinese Construction Co to invest heavily in KP

Largest China National Estate Construction Company has shown interest in investment of US$115 billion in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. This was revealed by Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development and Management Company (KPEZDMC), Mohsin Syed while briefing to Provincial Minister for Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Imtiaz Shahid Qureshi.

The minister was given briefing in detail regarding Industrial Estate Kohat. He told the minister that in next few days, the company will sign an agreement with Frontier Works Organization (FWO) regarding the construction of Kohat Industrial Estate and Airport. The industrial estate, he said will be established on an area of 1000 acres land. Gilgit-Chitral and Chakdara Road and train track will also be constructed. A company will construct a railway track from D.I. Khan to Kohat, while another company will lay railway track from Mardan to Saidu Sharif.
