B2B meetings with Chinese delegation

The Pakistan China Joint Chamber of Commerce and Industry organized B2B meetings in early March of 31-member high profile multi-sector Chinese trade delegation with Pakistani businessmen, investors and entrepreneurs.

Deputy Minister China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Jinan, Teng Shuang was leading the delegation whose visit was aimed at holding interactive B2B meetings with potential partners in Pakistan.

The area of interest was mainly auto parts manufacturing sector including electrical accessories, electrical equipment, sheet metal processing, fiber laser cutting machine and precision machinery along with many others.

The delegation head invited the PCJCCI members to visit Jinan and offered all out cooperation with the Pakistani officials in this regard. The B2B meetings were aimed at increasing the scope of trade and investment in the areas came under discussion.

PCJCCI senior vice president Dr Iqbal Qureshi said China has remained incredible supporter of Pakistan. The Chinese constant assistance will do wonders for the emerging economic status of Pakistan and these B2B meetings will certainly have a positive impact on the business community, he added.

Sohail Qadri, from Punjab Board of Investment, also spoke on the occasion and talked about the investment policies to boost the ongoing economic activities in Pakistan. He also highlighted the importance of CPEC and expressed optimism about the industrial boom of both the countries.

The representative from auto sector including Suzuki, Master Motor, Toyota Airport Motor, Ruba Automotive, Roshan Packages, Guard Agricultures and Novamed Pharmaceuticals also attended the meeting.
