Amcon Group of Companies has received the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) award at the 11th Annual CSR Summit & Awards 2022, organized by the National Forum for Environment & Health (NFEH).
Amcon Group of Companies was presented with the CSR award in recognition of their efforts for the welfare of their employees during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Amcon lauded for their initiative of decreasing profit margins during the pandemic and their courageous decision of resisting downsizing even during the tough financial situation caused by the pandemic. In fact during those tough times Amcon started hiring people who were distraught due to unemployment as a way to support their households. Moreover the company did not deduct salaries of any of its employees to avoid putting undue stress on its staff. In recognition of such activities Amcon group of companies was nominated for and awarded the CSR award 2022.
Mr. Ammad Monus, CEO & Founder Amcon Group of companies received the prestigious CSR award presented by state Minister Information Mr. Farukh Habib, and Federal Minister Railway Mr. Azam Swati at the CSR Summit & Awards ceremony held at Serena Hotel Islamabad.
The Annual CSR Summit and Awards is organized every year by The Professionals Network (TPN). It is the first and only nationally-recognized CSR awards of Pakistan, registered with the IPO, that honours leading corporations from across the country for their outstanding and innovative efforts for the wellbeing of individuals, communities and the environment.
