Al-Ghazi Tractors achieved a big milestone in Pakistan’s industrial history as it has achieved production of the 600,000th tractor with a celebration at its manufacturing facility at Dera Ghazi Khan. At this plant, the company had first started tractor production over four decades back. Spanning over 3.9 million square feet, the Dera Ghazi Khan facility has been the backbone of Al-Ghazi Tractors operations since 1983. Al-Ghazi Tractors quite appreciably manufacture more than 92 percent of its tractor components locally which duly reflect both the depth of its manufacturing infrastructure and also its continued contribution to the country’s industrial base. Al-Ghazi Tractors facility was established as a subsidiary of the Al-Futtaim Group with Case New of Holland as both a strategic shareholder and technical collaborator , the company spent 42 years, going onwards, manufacturing tractors specifically for Pakistan’s agricultural conditions.
