Chinese delegation visits FPCCI
A Chinese delegation from Handan City headed by Mr. HU Zengmin, Vice President Handan Chamber of Commerce and Industry visited Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI) Regional Office Lahore. In the meeting various matter of mutual interest were discussed.
Mr. Manzoor Ul Haq, Regional Chairman and Vice President FPCCI said China is one of the important trade partners of Pakistan while there is dire need of trade balancing between both Countries. Pakistan is rapidly growing economy, fifth largest consumer market in the world with 200 million populations while our economy is continuously flourishing in various sectors which highlights the scope of businesses. China Pakistan Economic Corridor and business friendly investment policies have turned Pakistan into a best trade and investment destination.
Mr. HU Zengmin Leader of the delegation appreciated role of FPCCI for economic development of the Country and said economic globalization and regional integration has provided enormous opportunities for further cooperation between China and Pakistan. Both Countries are strongly associated together and both countries mutual relations are based on solid foundations. He added Pakistan is an ideal destination of foreign investment and top priority of the Chinese investors.
Mr. Manzoor highlighted various investment and joint ventures opportunities and said joint ventures with Chinese enterprises would facilitate vital transfer of technology as Pakistan direly need to upgrade value-addition process. He said trade delegations not only enhance trade and economic ties between the two countries but they are also source of getting essence of investment opportunities therefore most important and right sector could be focused while visas should be issued on recommendation from Trade bodies and Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry.
Highlighting Regional Trade opportunities, The Chairman said CPEC is the largest overseas investment, which is coming in next three years. The investment will further upraise Potential of Pakistani market to the world. He added international investors should avail this opportunity especially Chinese companies will have direct market access in perspective of China Pakistan Economic Corridor.
The delegation was comprises of knowledgeable members from Cosmetics, Garments, Japanese Products, Security Products, Cameras, Solar Products, Agriculture, Coal, Oil, Chemical, Batteries and mobile accessories.
