Powerful Presentation by Mr. Abdul Hameed Sheikh
Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry(LCCI) and Small and Medium Enterprises Ltd(SMEDA) jointly organized a workshop on “Fire and Security- Challenges and its Prospects” at LCCI auditorium on 13th May, 2017. Mr. Abdul Hameed Sheikh, Chairman Firetech Group was the guest speaker who was invited for a detailed presentation on various aspects of firefighting. Mr. Sheikh is the most experienced and technically solid professional of Pakistan as far as the firefighting is concerned.
The event was well attended by leading professionals from various industries including Descon, Izhar Group, packages, Banu Mukhtar and many others.
Mr. Rehmatullah Javed, Chairman standing committee of LCCI opened the forum by welcoming all the guests and the guest speaker. SMEDA’s provincial chief was also among the notables.
Mr. Khurram Sarwar, Director Firetech Group threw some light on the technical aspects of the Firefighting prospects and techniques being used worldwide and in Pakistan.
Mr. Abdul Hameed Sheikh offered a detailed presentation on the topic using his experience and technical knowledge from Pakistan and abroad. Quoting the reference of some dynamic projects by Firetech Enterprises like Arfa kareem tower, oil depots and various air bases, he told that only Firetech carries the level of expertise required to perform the mega projects in Pakistan.
His speech was quiet impressive as everybody gave it an attentive ear. Question answer session was there at the end and the participants raised some highly technical questions which were answered amicably by Mr. Sheikh. The participants highly lauded the informative and logical presentation by Mr. Abdul Hameed Sheikh.
