Haqooq Khalq Movement Pakistan has demanded to the government of Pakistan to emphasize the usage of renewable energy resources while shuffling out the production of electricity from oil and gas. A conference held at the Lahore Press Club under the Haqooq Khalq Movement Pakistan, the present members i.e. Farooq Tariq, Zaigham Abbas, Aima Khosa and Muzammil Khan, rose this point. The renewable sources will render out the major capital being invested in this sector. If government shuffles towards the natural resources such as solar, wind, and small scale hydropower plants for the generation of electricity, this will not only lessen the burden of oil purchasing but also will make Pakistan to rely on its own natural resources that will boost confidence of locals with long-lasting steps towards development.
