Minister of Foreign Affairs & Trade, Hungary, Peter Szijjarto called on Abdul Razak Dawood, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Commerce & Investment to discuss trade and investment related issues. PM advisor highlighted the cordial relations between Pakistan and Hungary. He also thanked the government and the people of Hungary for supporting Pakistan in European Union. He also appreciated the investment in oil and gas sector and indicated the opportunities for agro and food processing, information technology, engineering and manufacturing sector for investment. Being a member of TIR Convention Pakistan is also upgrading the rail and road infrastructure link to enhance regional connectivity most particularly with China, Afghanistan & Central Asian Republics. The Hungarian Foreign Minister conveyed that the EXIM Bank of Hungary have a preferential credit line of $84 million to promote business to business cooperation between Pakistani and Hungarian companies. The plan of direct flight from Hungary to Pakistan is still under review.
