Production of Light Commercial Vehicles, Vans and Jeeps in the country has recorded a substantial increase of as much as 69.43 percent during the first eight months of the current financial year i.e. July 2024 to February 2025.
According to the facts and figures available from the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturers in this regard, as many as 22503 Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) were manufactured in the country during the period under report as compared to the production of 13281 LCVs, vans and jeeps during the same period of the previous financial year 2023-24.
On the other hand, production of farm tractors had decreased during the same period by 30.04 percent from 31008 units in the previous fiscal to 21692 units during the first eight months of the current financial year.
