Solar Power Investment Roadshow in Dubai

Pakistan’s Bid for Renewable Energy Growth

Pakistan organized a roadshow in Dubai to attract investors for a 600 MWp solar power project in Kot Addu, Muzaffargarh, in collaboration with USAID through the Power Sector Improvement Activity (PSIA). The government is promoting solar energy due to its cost-effectiveness and the rising prices of imported fossil fuels. The roadshow in Dubai aimed to market the project for international competitive bidding and encourage energy investments in Pakistan’s renewable sector. It attracted global energy players, financial institutions, multinational companies, and investors from various regions, with support from USAID and PSIA.
