Rs100 billion investment expected by the Central Business District

The Prime Minister Imran khan was informed that an investment of approximately a 100 billion rupees is expected by the central business district during a meeting related to the Ravi Urban Development Authority and the CBD projects under construction in Lahore. Prime Minister Imran khan also highlighted the significance of green spaces to be produced in the existing urban areas to mitigate the problems regarding pollution including smog.

He also gave a briefing to the Punjab government in order to take appropriate legal action against the illegal housing societies and encroachments in the province. The process of land transfer to RUDA and CBD was also directed.

These projects are constructed for the betterment of the living statues of common man. The prime minister stated that these projects are being hindered and criticized upon for political reasons and that these acts play a negative role in the plan for attracting further investments in the country.

The prime minister was notified that the projects are being worked on at maximum pace and are near completion. 1900 low cost housing units are also planned to develop during the process.
