Powerzone Engineering and Services has partnered up with Fiat Powertrain Technologies (FPT) in order to provide FPT generators in the Pakistani market.
Fiat Powertrain Technologies (FPT) is a part of Fiat Group Automobiles which produces world renowned cars including Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Dodge, Ferrari, Jeep, Lancia, Maserati, Ram Trucks, and SRT. Working under Fiat automobiles group, the Fiat Powertrain Technologies Company has activities in nine different countries; it has 10 plants and around 20,000 employees. With an output of around 2.9 million engines and 2.4 million transmissions and axles annually, FPT is one of the largest companies in the powertrain sector.
Mr. Mian Ahsan, CEO, Powerzone Engineering and Services, while talking exclusively to Engineering Post revealed that FPT has partnered up with Powerzone in Pakistan to provide their generators in the Pakistani Market. “FPT is producing extremely efficient engines for their generators which are going to provide a tough competition for other brands in the market” he said. FPT generators are designed in such a way that they can work extremely well even in rugged terrain. Mian Ahsan explained that the generators are designed in Europe according to European standards and are extremely efficient in their working. The impeccable performance of the products is what encouraged Powerzone to introduce the product in Pakistani market. “While being tested along with other generators, the FPT generators kept running very smoothly even at the load of 120%,” he added. Furthermore, the product has been designed in such a way that it can run extremely efficiently even in the ambient temperature of 50 degrees centigrade.
Keeping in view the market trend of Pakistan where people are influenced by price more than quality, Fiat Powertrain is providing its generators at very reasonable prices. “We are providing Italian made generators in Pakistan in the price bracket of Chinese generators. We are also offering 24 months of warranty and after sales service for FPT generators,” added Mr Mian Ahsan. This can be a decisive factor in boosting the sale of FPT generators once people realise that they are getting European standard products with a minimal difference from Chinese generators.
Powerzone Engineering and Services has already sold FPT generators to Pakistan Airforce, Poultry farms and different builders of the country. “More than 35 generators have already been provided to customers in the last 4 months without even initiating any proper marketing. And they are so satisfied that we are getting repeated orders” said Mr. Mian Ahsan. “We are planning to arrange seminars, and other marketing activities to increase awareness about the brand so people get to know about the quality of the FPT generators being provided in this price range” he added.
