Pakistan Electric Power Company (PEPCO) has delivered instructions for degrees verification of engineers for their regulation in BPS-17 according to sources. PEPCO has enquired the Higher Education Commission to verify the degrees of all the engineers recruited in BPS-17 and has instructed LESCO to obtain letters from Pakistan Engineering Council in this regard. Moreover, PEPCO has also instructed to expel the employees having received severe punishments. However, the regularization policy has been changed for those having received lesser punishments and that would be considered for promotion.
