Pakistan Cables, which is well known as the pioneer company for the manufacturing of cables and wires in Pakistan, has recently become the first company manufacturing building materials which has gotten its science based emission reduction targets validated and approved by Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi). The main focus of SBTi is to work in favor of positive climate change action while working with the private sector after letting the companies set science based emission reduction targets.
During the announcement of this news, CEO Pakistan Cables Fahad K. Chinoy said, “We plan to drive sustainability by investing in continuous process improvement and cleaner energy to reach our targets by 2030. By setting science-based targets, Pakistan Cables is accelerating its efforts to align with ongoing global efforts to reduce global warming”.
