Islamabad: National University of sciences and technology Organized a tree plantation drive in their main campus H-12 on the 1st week of September. This drive aimed at plantation of 1000 trees and raising awareness about the importance of forests for our environment.
The selection of trees for plantation at NUST is limited to natural and fruit trees including, olive tree, cassia fistula known as golden shower tree, guava tree & pomegranate Tree. NUST has aligned its efforts with the government of Pakistan in reducing environmental pollution and increasing awareness about pollution and deforestation in the masses through different awareness drives.
