NHA to undertake 9 projects on BOT and PPP modes

As many as nine projects are in pipeline of the National Highway Authority which will be undertaken on Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) modes.

According to the NHA sources, these projects include 306 kilometers (KMs)long Hyderabad-Sukkur Motorway (M-2), 790 kms long Dualization and Rehabilitation of Karachi-Quetta-Chaman Road (N-25), 129 kms long Dualization & Rehabilitation of Balkasar-Mianwali Road,  286 kms long Dualization & Rehabilitation of Mianwali-Muzaffargarh Road, construction of  Shahdara Flyover (7 kms), Construction of Lyari elevated Freight Corridor (20 kms), Construction of Sialkot-Kharian Motorway (70 kms), Construction of Kharian-Rawalpindi Motorway (115 kms) and Construction of Bara Kahu Flyover (3.6 kms).
