Special Technology Zones (STZs) were being established and operationalized comprising Information Technology Parks, Software Technology Parks, Business Process Outsourcing Complexes, Research and Development facilities, and Excellence Centres for technology-driven businesses and startups engaged in providing IT and IT enabled services.
IT companies are being facilitated to get ISO27001 and ISO27701 certifications. This will help in up skilling the Business Process Outsourcing industry for bringing more business from European countries.
Training and certification on cutting -edge technologies being subsidized like Machine Learning, Cyber Security, Cloud Computing etc.
As many as 25 Software technology Parks being established in different parts of the country with rental subsidies thus facilitating the IT industry.
Technology Research Center being established in collaboration with the industry players for improving and creating new cutting-edge technologies and Cloud infrastructure established.
Official sources on being contacted said that these important initiatives hopefully will be helpful in further building up the digital infrastructure and skillsets relating to the emerging information technologies.
