The output of the large scale manufacturing industries (LSMI) was observed to be increased by 5.1 percent in the first quarter of this fiscal year as compared to the last fiscal year. The data was released by the Pakistan bureau of statistics when almost all the manufacturing sectors presented the postings of their growth. The LSMI ouput has shown an increase of 1.19 percent for September 2021 as compared to September 2020 and it also showed a decrease of 0.72 percent if the data is to be compared with the entries of august 2021. This data has been proven by the provisional quantum index numbers of the large scale manufacturing industries. Also the LSM data that was released by the Pakistan bureau of statistics after compilation from the data given by provincial bureau of statistics, the oil company advisory council and the ministry of industries revealed that OCAC recorded monthly growth of 4.47 percent in September 2021 against the previous month and an annual growth of 9.57 percent was recorded. The ministry of industries related sectors observed an uprising of 0.51 percent in September 2021 as compared to august 2021 on month to month basis, whereas on the yearly basis, a growth of 2.16 percent was seen.
