Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) President Irfan Iqbal Sheikh has appealed to the government for relaxation in lockdown so that small businesses and shop keepers can open their shops.
If government issues preventive SOPs for operation it would be much preferable to observe those preventive measures rather than close businesses for so long.
He appealed for relaxations for small traders and shopkeepers and urged the government to allow business to open from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m atleast.
The LCCI President said that if small traders and shopkeepers are not allowed to open their businesses, they will not be able to stand on their feet for long. Irfan Iqbal Sheikh informed the delegations the Lahore chamber of commerce and industry has already raised the issue at a high level and hope that soon the traders and vendors will get their businesses open with government issued SOPs.
