K electric reaches a huge checkpoint as they install their first unit of 900MW RLNG fired Bin Qasim power station III (BQPS-III). The unit will provide 450MW of energy as a first phase of the project. K electric invited Prime Minister Imran khan for the inauguration ceremony of the unit.
The power division wrote a letter to the prime minister for the invitation and in the letter, stated that the federal government has been playing a major role in the possibility of this project. The government’s support has been of utter significance as it will help sustain the supply of power in the city. It was also stated that the government has been of extreme help in completing this project in record time.
It was also stated in the letter that the power division has been working with several government entities including the power and finance department to make sure the completion of this project. This project will prove to be a major source of energy for the city as well as an eco-sensitive system for the provision of it. It has been made possible by the help of multiple international and domestic companies and investors, and their sheer commitment towards the project and its benefits. BQPS-III will be counted as one of the top five most efficient power plants of Pakistan. The power division also stated in the letter that it would be an honour of the Prime Minister Imran khan attended the inauguration ceremony as a Chief Guest of the event. The company also made sure that strict measures would be taken to follow the SOPs for COVID 19 and proper social distancing will be kept. The invitation was also extended to all the stakeholders and companies that have been of help in the completion of this project.
