IT & Telecom division implementing 35 old and new schemes

Information Technology & Telecommunication Division of the Federal Government is implementing 35 old and new schemes under Public Sector Development Programme 2022-23. Out of these, 30 schemes are ongoing and five new schemes are scheduled to be launched during ongoing financial year.

30 ongoing schemes, which are at various stages of their completion white being executed in phased manner, are estimated to cost Rs 78343.610 million including foreign aid of Rs 38276.635 million  with an allocation of Rs 5380.555 million in PSDP 2022-23..

Five new schemes scheduled to be launch d during financial year 2022-23 are estimated to cost  Rs 18502.648 million including foreign aid of of Rs 16675.000 million,  The Ministry has been allocated  Rs 850.000 million including foreign aid of Rs 100 .00 million for launching of new schemes during financial year 2022-23.

Quite interestingly, all the five new schemes were approved by the Central Development Working Party (CDWP) and departmental Development Working Party (DDWP) in the last 10 days of June 2022.
