For developing a human capital pool for Information and Communication Technologies industry and increasing the labour pool available for Information Technology (IT) /Information Technology enabled Service (ITeS) companies in the country, Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB) has initiated various programmes in order to produce more and more trained and certified IT Professionals.
According to PSEB sources,these included certification of IT Professionals IT Industry Readiness Bootcamp Programme,IT Industry Soft Skills Training Programme, IT Industry Academia Bridge Programme, ICT Internship Programme.
Under Certification of IT Professionals, 550 graduates IT professionals and public sector employees have been trained and duly certified in emerging technologies. Under IT Industry Readiness Bootcamp Programme 2108 candidates have been training and another 1134 candidates were undergoing training in different phases and stages.
