Dawlance Pakistan has become the first Pakistani brand to comply with the strict European standards and has initiated exports of home appliances to European countries. CEO of Dawlance Arcelik in Pakistan Umar Ahsan Khan informed the media that some 5000 dispensers have already been dispatched, while some quantity will be exported very soon.
Dawlance Pakistan has recently inaugurated two new production line i.e one for manufacturing automatic washing machines and the other for water dispensers. These products are being manufactured according to European standards and will also be available in the local market. CEO DawlandeArcelik said that this is an inspirational initiative for other business enterprises in Pakistan, to work with optimism for overcoming the current economic challenges. The inauguration ceremony was attended by Prime Minister’s Adviser on Commerce, Textile, Industries and Production and Investment, Abdul Razzak Dawood.
Dawlance is a fully owned subsidiary of Arçelik – the largest Turkish enterprise, which is also the third-largest manufacturer in Europe. Since the acquisition of Dawlance in 2016, Arçelik has invested more than $60 million in Pakistan to upgrade its production facilities and product quality, while also building a state-of-the-art research and development capability in Pakistan to innovate newer technologies.
