COMSATS initiates project on Artificial intelligence worth Rs. 1 Billion

Comsats University Islamabad (CUI) has initiated a project on artificial intelligence along with 6 major universities of Pakistan. The project is focused on providing the students with the best and modern higher education. The universities involved in the project are Comsats University Islamabad, National University of Science and Technology (NUST), University of Engineering Technology (UET) Lahore, University of Engineering Technology (UET) Peshawar, NED University of Engineering and Technology Karachi, and Punjab University.

As part of this project nine modern laboratories would be established in four cities including Islamabad, Lahore, Peshawar, and Karachi through artificial intelligence technology.

Through these laboratories, the students would be provided with an opportunity to study subjects related to artificial intelligence, robotics, cyber security, e-gaming, big data, and speed coding.

This project which was the brainchild of Rector Comsats University Islamabad Dr. Rahil Qamar is expected to be operational by next year.
