Chinese technicians being airlifted for CPEC projects

As the threat to Corona virus in Pakistan decreases the construction projects have started resuming work. The technical teams and engineers who had returned to China are now being airlifted back to Pakistan through special chartered flights.

As many as 270 Chinese technicians to be airlifted for the Suki Kinari hydropower project from Chengdu, the capital of China’s southwest Sichuan province. These technicians will be brought to Pakistan by a special chartered plane for which Civil Aviation Agency (CAA) of Pakistan has accorded special permission for the Air China Chartered flight CA-555/6.

Last week 500 engineers reached Pakistan through special chartered flight for resuming work on Thar Coal Block-1.
