The letter of intent (LOI) was signed by the president of Zhongguancun Belt and Road Industrial Promotion Association of China (ZBRA) Zhang Xiaodong and the chairman of special technological zones authority Pakistan Amir Hashmi during a virtual ceremony in the presence of the Pakistan’s ambassador to China, Moinul Haque and prime minister’s special assistant on CPEC, Khalid Mansoor for the promotion of advanced technological exchanges between both the countries.
Both the parties will be collaborating in order for the improvement and advancement of technology in both the countries under the framework of China Pakistan cooperation. STZA is looking for an advancement in the sectors of ecosystem development, construction and management technology. The areas under focus include Semiconductors, Cloud Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, FinTech, Blockchain, and Biotech for mutually beneficial cooperation.
Both the sectors are looking forward to share the knowledge on science and technology and help each other in building an advance and high tech ecosystem which will ultimately transform the tech sector of both countries. This collaboration is one of the goals of STZA to transform Pakistan’s human capital into an advanced and capable workforce meanwhile creating a load of opportunities for the youth of Pakistan.
