Chaudhary Nadeem Rauf has been elected as the President of Rawalpindi Chamber Of Commerce and Industry (RCCI). The members of RCCI have shared belief that the new president will work for the betterment of the overall business community in Rawalpindi. Mr. Nadeem Rauf conveyed that he will put his best efforts to overcome the problems of the business community by visiting various markets and by raising the voice of the business community at all levels. He also showed his intentions to work for the more and more facilities for chamber members.
Chaudhary Nadeem Rauf is the director of Arco International which is related to the manufacturing of prefabricated structures and insulated sandwich panels. He has previously served as the chapter chairman for HVACR Society Islamabad chapter. He was also the president of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) for north Pakistan.
He has had the honour of serving as the vice president of RCCI for the year 2012-2013 and has been a part of many different committees formed under RCCI over the past few years.
A delegation of Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) which included the newly elected President Nadeem Rauf also called on Federal Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Asad Umar for discussion regarding on-going projects and setting up of industrial zones in the region. Senior Vice President Osman Ashraf, and Vice President Shahraiz Malik were also part of the delegation.
The minister assured the delegation that he will talk to the Prime Minister regarding early construction of industrial zones along Rawalpindi Ring Road as Setting up industrial zones will accelerate trade activities and promote local industry.
