Pakistan’s automobile industry reported a robust month as the sales of cars increased appreciably by as much as 57 percent on year-on-year basis in February 2024.
During the period under report, a total number of 9709 units of all kinds were sold as compared to 6186 units sold in February 2023.
According to data available from the Pakistan Automobile Manufacturers Association (PAMA) car sales throughout the country during the first eight months of the ongoing financial year July 2023 to February 2024 nearly 60,000 units were sold, down by 41 percent on Year-on-Year basis.
On the other hand, tractor sales had declined 12 percent on Month 0n Month (MoM) basis and remained flat on Year on Year basis with sales of 3366 units.
