The Engineering Consultancy profession began its journey of growth in Pakistan on the back of a few professionals who came forward to provide their services in a field that was not known to many. They began their earnest journey to bring about a change in the Engineering Community of the country and to help the country in its industrial growth. One of these persons is Engr. Muhammad Adil Usman who has held a formidable presence in the field of Electrical Consultancy Services since 1979. His dedication, ethics, and professionalism has earned him great admiration and recognition on various platforms, both from within the engineering community as well as amongst the Industry at large. His firm, M/s. Associated Technical Consultants; also known as ATCONS; has been in the forefront of Industrial Innovation, large scale infrastructures, and specialized projects since its inception in 1979 and has to its credit a diverse portfolio of projects ranging across all market segments, including various R&D projects.
In 2015 this legacy was passed down to his son, Engr. Safwan Ali; an industry veteran himself now with more than two decades of Engineering Consultancy experience. Under his leadership, the firm has diversified its expertise and services beyond the traditional industrial and power sectors by pursuing newer innovations and technologies as well as new service segments while following the same guiding principles of professionalism, ethics, and honesty for both the client and the project as was duly ingrained and thought by Engr. M. Adil Usman.
