30th HVACR Expo 2025: Set to Elevate New Industry Standards

Ahmad Naeem Chughtai, Chief Convener Expo shares insights with Engineering Post

Preparations for the highly anticipated HVACR Expo 2025 are in full swing, with organizers promising a transformative experience for exhibitors, industry professionals, and international visitors. Scheduled to take place from June 19 to 21 at Lahore’s bustling Expo Center, the event marks a strategic shift from Islamabad due to logistical challenges, while retaining the Islamabad chapter of the Pakistan HVACR Society as its host. Ahmad Naeem Chughtai, Convener of the HVACR Expo 2025, shared insights into the meticulous planning behind the event, emphasizing innovation, inclusivity, and lessons learned from past editions during a recent exclusive conversation with Engineering Post.

The decision to relocate the expo to Lahore stemmed from space constraints in Islamabad, but securing dates at the Lahore Expo Center one of Pakistan’s busiest venues proved challenging. “After extensive coordination, we finalized June 19–21,” Ahmad Naeem Chughtai explained. “Though Lahore’s Expo Center is in high demand, our team’s persistence ensured these dates align with industry calendars, maximizing participation.” The venue’s central location and infrastructure are expected to draw robust footfall, with over 10,000 visitors projected.

Ahmad Naeem Chughtai highlighted critical improvements addressing past shortcomings. Food logistics, a recurring issue, will be streamlined through a coupon system for exhibitors. “Previously, long queues and shortages frustrated attendees. This year, food coupons will ensure timely, organized service,” he said. Additionally, air conditioning inefficiencies a major complaint in prior years have been resolved through collaboration with venue management. “We’ve secured firm commitments from the Expo Center to upgrade cooling systems, ensuring a comfortable environment,” Ahmad Naeem Chughtai affirmed.

To enhance accessibility, the expo has digitized visitor registration and badge distribution, eliminating physical queues. “Online registration and e-badges reflect our commitment to a seamless experience,” noted Ahmad Naeem Chughtai. Aggressive marketing via social media, email campaigns, and traditional channels aims to replicate the success of previous editions, with exhibitor slots already fully booked. “We’re still receiving requests for space, a testament to the expo’s growing reputation,” he added.

A standout feature of HVACR Expo 2025 is its integrated conference, scheduled as a full-day session on June 20 and a half-day on June 21. Partnerships with universities and professors aim to foster academic-industry dialogue. “By signing MoUs with institutions, we’re bridging theory and practice, encouraging innovation,” Ahmad Naeem Chughtai stated. The schedule allows attendees to split time between the conference and exhibition halls, optimizing networking and knowledge-sharing opportunities.

The event is poised to attract international attention, with delegates from China, Turkey, and Far East countries anticipated. Foreign principals of local distributors will join, underscoring the expo’s role in global trade. “International visitors will stay at Lahore’s Nishat Hotel, with bullet-proof vehicles and security protocols in place,” Ahmad Naeem Chughtai assured, addressing safety concerns. This focus on hospitality and security aims to position Pakistan as a reliable destination for industrial collaboration.

Ahmad Naeem Chughtai reiterated that the expo’s success hinges on teamwork. “From exhibitors inviting clients to universities contributing expertise, this is a unified endeavor,” he said. The platform not only showcases genuine products and reputable importers but also combats counterfeit markets. “Visitors can verify authentic suppliers firsthand, fostering trust and transparency,” he emphasized.

“We’re not just organizing an event; we’re building a legacy of quality and connectivity,” affirmed Ahmad Naeem Chughtai, capturing the spirit of HVACR Expo 2025. With meticulous planning and a vision for the future, the stage is set for an unforgettable convergence of ideas, products, and partnerships.
